A 600 m section between Wondong IC and the Centum Daelim Apartment area is scheduled for pedestrian and bicycle separation work in 2026
If completed as described, this should reduce pedestrian-bike conflict on a short but useful Suyeong River connector.

Not as an improved section.
The current riverside line can still be used, but the safer separated layout is a future item. Expect normal Suyeong River behavior until work actually starts: walkers, merge points, and occasional slow riding.
Not yet.
Once done, it may be useful because it fixes friction on a connector people already use. Until then, it is a watch item.
Area: Banyeo-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Reported section: Wondong IC to Centum Daelim Apartment area. Reported scale: 600 m, 6-8 m wide. Schedule reported: design June-August 2026, construction September, completion target December 2026. Exact work limits still need checking once design or construction details are published.
Good direction. Still not built.
This is the kind of small project that can matter more than it sounds. A short shared stretch with walkers and bikes squeezed together can ruin the flow of a much longer river ride.
