Quick Verdict
Easy distance. Not effortless.
This is a good first 70 km route: mostly flat, mostly riverside, and it finishes somewhere that feels like a proper destination.
The Ride
Start at Miryang Station, get out to the river, then follow the Nakdong corridor south through quiet farmland, Yangsan, and western Busan.
The mood changes as you go. The first part is quiet and open, with countryside, river bends, and very little city noise. After Yangsan, Busan slowly starts appearing around the edges. By the end you are rolling toward Dadaepo, with cafes, restaurants, and the beach waiting instead of another random road junction.
Apart from small bridges, there is basically no climbing. That makes it relaxing, but it also means wind and sun matter more than elevation.
Shade And Resupply
Do not assume there will be food exactly when you want it.
During the season, small food or coffee trucks may appear along parts of the path. Nice when it happens, not something to plan your whole ride around.
If you need a restaurant or convenience store, expect to leave the path. Bring snacks and enough to drink, especially in warm weather.
The first half and the final approach toward Dadaepo have long exposed sections. Sun protection is not optional. Sun in Korea can hit like a truck.
Train Link
If you have a folding bike, Miryang works well as a train entry or exit point.
Read the Korea train-bike tips before planning around that. Train luggage space is limited, and a folded bike is still a real object other people have to move around.
